On the evening of Friday, 25 August 2023, FENC Fiji hosted its much-anticipated Charity Gala. This event served as a beacon of hope, uniting individuals from all walks of life to support the most vulnerable children in Fiji. FENC Fiji firmly believes that education holds the key to breaking the relentless cycle of poverty, offering a brighter future filled with improved employment prospects. By empowering the youth with quality education, we pave the way for a safer society, reducing crime, violence, and abuse, while nurturing the exceptional leaders of tomorrow.
The impact of this Gala extends far beyond the glitz and glamour of the evening. It resonates deeply within both rural and urban communities, touching the lives of those struggling below the poverty line and families unable to afford essential educational supplies for their children. FENC Fiji recognizes the urgent need for such intervention and remains steadfast in the belief that it will leave a lasting, positive imprint on these communities. Their fundraising efforts are directed towards establishing learning and tutoring centres, expanding the FENC Fiji footprint, and reaching even more deserving individuals.
The event saw a generous representation from Kontiki Finance, with a table of ten dedicated staff members in attendance. Their unwavering support for this noble cause was evident as they listened to the insightful speeches delivered by the Chief Guest, the Honorable Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro. They also indulged in culinary delights and immersed themselves in the festivities thoughtfully orchestrated by FENC Fiji.
